Located in the 45-hectare Alabang Global City near the Versailles Town Plaza is the upcoming Overseas Filipino Workers Center. The OFW Center is envisioned to be a 10-story structure that would house government agency satellite offices for OFW documentation and travel needs, as well as legal aid. This is one of the Corporate Social Responsibility projects of State Properties Corporation.
President Rodrigo Roa Duterte led the groundbreaking ceremony on April 7, 2022, for the Overseas Filipino Workers Center, which will be a one-stop shop for the needs of overseas workers and will actively promote their rights and welfare.
During the groundbreaking ceremony for the OFW Center in Versailles, President Duterte pledged that the government would work harder to ensure the safety and welfare of OFWs.
